Dear Former Mother in Tennessee,
Thank you so much for sending your child back to Russia all alone; what a great idea. Your timing couldn't have been more perfect and we really appreciate all of the extra questioning that we are getting because of your ridiculous actions. Who knew that your actions would reflect badly on all Americans adopting internationally?
Congratulations and Thank You!

UGH!! Frustrating!! Stay positive....!!
First of all, my heart breaks reading your last posts since I know EXACTLY the rollercoaster ride you are currently on....ours lasted 3.5 weeks last summer. The hope, fear and yes, anger, that you feel when you face letdown after letdown. You're almost afraid of opening up your heart. You guys are doing great, however....Your optimism and graciousness will go a long way. I know that the questionning must be getting more difficult. We too faced a similar situation. In Canada, a mother took a newscamera to Kaz and basically criticized the program to the world in a national news story called Buying Babies. We were waiting to travel and petrified that Kaz would close the doors. One person's ax to grind can affect thousands...yet, they do not fully understand the impact of their actions. There is always a better alternative. There is currently a petition going through the adoption families, explaining that this one person's actions do not reflect the love and care given by the thousands of other adoptive families. Finally, this may help you as well... Last summer, when our journey was going nowhere, we wrote a very touching letter to the authorities, explaining how honored we were to be in Kaz and pleading for their help in finding our child....It did take two trips...but we ended up with the most adorable little girl! Keep the faith. Jocelyne
heard about that - what an idiot!
hang in there... we are all praying and supporting you every step of the way.... what orphanage are you going to? just curious?!
So sorry it's so tough... sending hugs, thoughts, and prayers to you today... :)
